Setting a camera target

When you set a camera target, Airpeak Base automatically calculates the direction of the main camera.
During flight, the orientation of the aircraft and the gimbal is automatically adjusted so that the main camera faces that direction.

Instructions

  1. Right-click the position on the workspace you want to set as the target, then select Add camera target.

Setting the target’s influence

If a camera target has been set, the direction of the main camera will be set to the direction of the camera target by default. Adjusting the Influence parameter allows you to adjust the degree to which the main camera faces in the direction of the camera target.
For example, this can be used to adjust the speed at which the camera turns from another direction to the direction of the camera target in video production.
When influence is reduced, the camera Direction and camera target will function together. Setting influence at 100% will make the camera face the direction of the target with no influence from the Direction value. Setting influence at 0% will make the camera face the same direction as Direction with no influence from the target value.
