Timeline Mission parameters

The following items are the Timeline Mission parameters. Some parameters cannot be edited.

ParameterDescriptionMore information
PositionLongitudeLongitude position of the aircraftThe longitude, latitude, and altitude keyframes are linked to each other. If any position keyframe is added, deleted, or moved in time, all other position keyframes will be automatically added, deleted, or moved in time.
LatitudeLatitude position of the aircraft
AltitudeAltitude relative to the aircraft’s takeoff point
SpeedHorizontalHorizontal speed of the aircraftSpeed keyframes are linked to position keyframes and are automatically created. Horizontal and vertical speed keyframes are linked to each other. If either keyframe is added, the other keyframe will be automatically added.
Speed keyframes can be dragged up or down to change their values.
  • The speed can be changed within the range of one-tenth to ten times its current value.
  • Dragging the keyframe up increases speed and reduces the flight duration. The flight path does not change.
  • Dragging the keyframe down decreases speed and extends the flight duration. The flight path does not change.
Restrictions
  • Speed keyframes cannot be deleted.
  • Handles cannot be displayed or adjusted.
  • Ease cannot be applied.
  • The speed of the starting point and ending point keyframes is fixed at 0. This value cannot be changed.
VerticalVertical speed of the aircraft
DirectionPanPan angle of the main cameraCamera directions are displayed relative to the following:
  • Pan: North at 0°
  • Tilt: You can select ground at 0° or horizontal orientation to the ground at 0° on the account settings screen.
  • Roll: Horizontal orientation at 0°
TiltTilt angle of the main camera
RollRoll angle of the main camera
TargetLongitudeLongitude position of the main camera’s shooting targetYou can set the position of a subject for the main camera to follow.
You can also set the degree of influence the Target value has on Direction.
  • If influence is set to 100%, the camera will face the direction of the target with no influence from the Direction value.
  • If influence is set to 0%, the camera will face the same direction as Direction with no influence from the target value.
LatitudeLatitude position of the main camera’s shooting target
AltitudeAltitude of the position of the main camera’s shooting target, relative to the aircraft’s takeoff point
InfluenceDegree by which the position of the camera’s target influences the camera’s direction
ShootingVideoThe camera’s video shooting start point and end pointThe camera can be set to shoot either video or photos.
